Our Day in the City…
Bud and I took some time off and enjoyed spending some “quality” time together. I took my camera and took many photos. Our city is so pretty this time of the year. My battery died on me half way through… I was so disappointed as I had particular places in mind to photograph. Here’s just a few:
This is the Walnut Street Bridge, which is a pedestrian walk bridge. It’s 1/2 mile across.
A local Yacht passing through to its private dock along the “Battery Place”.
Below is where it docked.
Some of the brilliant color all over the city. This is in the Bluff District.
Note the tree that grew around the pole. This is the courtyard where they play Bocce Ball.
Rembrant’s where Bud and I like to go and sit outside in the sunshine or shade and enjoy a good cup of Java and maybe a pastry. It’s quaint and quiet, usually!
Directions to the different places in the Bluff View District.
The Color is so vivid. This tree is in the front of the Back Inn Cafe.
Sculpture and art abounds all over the city. You never know where it’ll pop up and surprise you. And it’s all very unique.
This horse looks like it’s made from drift wood. However it is not…
it’s actually more like poured concrete or similar. It’s life size and much taller than me.
As I said, you never know what will appear and where!
This is the glass bridge over the Riverside Drive.
A view of the zig-zag walk.
Leaving the aquarium area and heading back up the hill to the Bluff View District.
I have many more… but will post later. I think I’ve overdone it this time. LOL
was down that way yeas ago. charlie went boar hunting. i remember crying just looking at the beautiful colors of the leaves… no wonder u guys stayed down there, not only God will but a beautiful place to live. it sounds soooo peaceful. miss u and love u
Wonderful pictures. There is always beauty when one will not only take the time, but involve some effort to look.
Just my thought.
I love trying to see the world around me from different angles (perspectives)… life is usually more interesting when “out of the box”.
