was down that way yeas ago. charlie went boar hunting. i remember crying just looking at the beautiful colors of the leaves… no wonder u guys stayed down there, not only God will but a beautiful place to live. it sounds soooo peaceful. miss u and love u

I enjoyed seeing fall through your eyes, and what you had to say about the seasons in our lives was insightful too. You sure live in a pretty part of the country. I love California, but we just don’t get those vibrant fall colors like they do back East. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and photos.

Brother, I’m afraid we’ll see more and more of this as that day approaches. There will be a “sifting”… my only hope and prayer is that I’m ready and that I helped someone else to make it ALL the WAY! We must keep praying for our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Two days after my morning encounter and my initial post here; I was given the reason for the visit. A young family left our church to attend another one across town. The reason was just as you wrote here; she decided that holiness was inward and no amount of clothes could make her more or less in the sight of God, and, mans rules over God’s rules was intolerable. She posted her thoughts on Facebook.

Knowing full well one cannot intervene in anothers rebellion; I could only share what I was given and trust the Lord to continue dealing with her.

Excellent post. I’m right there with you. I see and hear and I am concerned. We MUST hold fast. This generation needs us. Not all the younger people “changed”. I have seen them hunger for the deeper things not really knowing what it is they are longer for. No we are not “just getting old”. Truly appreciate your stand. I’ve bookmarked this page.
